Software Developer - Mobile Jobs in Indianapolis, IN

Plan, build, and maintain mobile applications and webpage displays. Mobile developers create customized webpage experiences and/or stand-alone applications for users operating portable devices like tablets and cell phones. They consider the users’ needs and the capabilities of the technology being used in order to produce software to best fill those needs. Frequently, they pay particular attention to creating designs that are optimized for more limited processing capabilities (found in mobile devices) and minimal data plan consumption. This career requires the use of many tools like Java, Xcode (for iOS), and Android Studio.

Mobile developers are competent with designing and programming for Android or iOS platforms, and many are adept at both. Before releasing any software, they test it on many different devices and operating systems.
