Data Architect Jobs in Westbrook, ME
A Data Architect in the technology industry is responsible for designing, creating, deploying and managing an organization's data architecture. This involves defining how the data will be stored, consumed, integrated and managed by different data entities and IT systems, as well as any applications using or processing that data in some way. They are also responsible for developing and maintaining a company's database by identifying structural and installation solutions. They should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, and certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) and IBM Certified Data Architect would be highly advantageous. Prior to becoming a Data Architect, an individual might have experience as a Data Analyst, Database Administrator, or a Data Scientist.
