Job Title: Sr. Desktop Technician Department: Health System Shared Services | Desk Top Support

Job Description
Leads less experienced staff in second level support and maintenance of the desktop and peripherals computing environment at OSUMC. Responsible for the installation, monitoring and service of the desktop hardware, software and peripherals at the whole unit or individual component level at OSUMC. Provides technical expertise, fault diagnosis, identification, isolation and resolution for the most complex PC/printer/peripheral/data/network/telephony systems and equipment issues and deployments. Assists in the integration and interfacing of these systems and/or networks with the Medical Center's data network. Working within the guidelines established by the OSUMC Technology Services and Support team within OSUMC IT, performs complex and project related break/fix and deployment duties within the medical center. Acts as a team leader for complex projects, assignments and issues associated with the desktop computing function.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED and 2 years of relevant experience. Computer science degree preferred.
