Job Description Summary
Conagra Brands is seeking an IT Director, Portfolio Owner for Planning and Procurement to lead the technology strategy for critical Supply Chain capabilities. In this role, you will partner closely with senior business leaders to shape the roadmap, prioritize technology investments, and deliver solutions that improve procurement, planning, and overall Supply Chain performance.
Reporting to the VP, Information Technology, you will own the Planning and Procurement technology portfolio, including strategy, roadmap, value realization, application lifecycle, vendor partnerships, portfolio health, and financial management. This role is ideal for a technology leader who can connect business priorities with modern digital capabilities and lead teams through complex transformation.
You will play a highly visible role in advancing technology that supports procurement, demand planning, inventory planning, production planning, and supply planning across the enterprise.
What You Will Do
- Partner with Supply Chain Procurement and Planning leaders to define the technology strategy, vision, roadmap, and priorities for the portfolio.
- Lead portfolio planning and governance, including program prioritization, value realization, technical debt, run, grow, and transformation initiatives.
- Translate business needs into technology capabilities that improve daily operations, planning effectiveness, procurement processes, and Supply Chain performance.
- Provide leadership across key programs, including financial planning, resourcing, delivery oversight, and portfolio health.
- Influence technology and product decisions that improve stability, quality, speed, and business outcomes.
- Manage application rationalization and lifecycle planning to ensure the technology portfolio stays aligned with business strategy.
- Oversee vendor selection, vendor relationships, contracts, and solution partnerships.
- Lead annual operating planning, forecasting, and financial management for the portfolio, including OPEX, CAPEX, and total cost of ownership.
- Ensure effective use of Agile delivery, change management, and communication practices.
- Communicate portfolio progress, risks, financials, and transformation activity to business and technology leadership.
- Build, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and supplier capabilities that can advance Planning and Procurement priorities.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, business, supply chain, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience leading people, process, and technology initiatives.
- Prior Supply Chain experience required, preferably within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry.
- Experience with Planning and Procurement technologies such as Blue Yonder, SAP Ariba, SAP, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with procurement technology and digital transformation within the procurement space.
- Experience supporting digital capabilities across demand planning, inventory planning, production planning, or supply planning.
- Financial management experience, including OPEX, CAPEX, forecasting, and portfolio cost ownership.
- Experience leading application strategy, portfolio management, vendor partnerships, and technology roadmaps.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments and partnering with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to challenge ideas, processes, and decisions in a respectful and collaborative way.
- Demonstrated ability to develop teams, build trust with business partners, and lead through influence.
Compensation
Pay Range:$135,000-$200,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employees actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
