This role oversees GIS tool implementation, geospatial data processing, and AI/ML integration for geospatial applications. This future opportunity is contingent upon award. Job Description The Geospatial Solutions Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining geospatial data visualization solutions that integrate with cloud-based platforms. The position requires developing operational dashboards leveraging GIS tools such as ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, and open-source geospatial platforms. Architects will optimize geospatial data layers for real-time analytics and cross-domain information sharing. The role includes overseeing the integration of geospatial AI/ML models ensuring accuracy and alignment with mission requirements. Required Qualifications and Experience The contractor shall provide personnel who meet one of the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, or a related field; or A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in geospatial architecture. Candidates must have demonstrated experience in the following areas: Developing GIS solutions using ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms. Integrating geospatial data into cloud-based applications. Spatial analysis and remote sensing. Geospatial AI/ML applications. Developing operational dashboards with GIS integration. Required Skills and Competencies Expertise in GIS tools, geospatial data processing, and mapping services. Working knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, and open-source geospatial platforms. Proficiency in spatial analysis and remote sensing interpretation. Strong understanding of geospatial AI/ML applications. Ability to optimize geospatial data layers for real-time analytics. Education Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
