QA Test Automation Engineer with insurance domain experience Remote (East Coast Candidates) Longterm

The Role

We are seeking a hands-on QA Test Automation Engineer to support a large-scale insurance transformation program. Working alongside senior testing leadership, you will help develop automated testing solutions, execute test cases, and contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality technology outcomes.

This role is ideal for someone with strong test automation capabilities who enjoys hands-on testing and wants to deepen their experience within complex enterprise environments.

This is a remote contract opportunity with a preference for candidates located on the U.S. East Coast. Quarterly travel to Waco, Texas is required.

What You ll Do

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and similar automation tools within established testing frameworks.
Execute manual and automated testing activities, documenting results and supporting defect resolution.
Support test design, test execution, environment validation, and quality assurance activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate closely with senior QA leadership and project teams to ensure successful delivery of testing objectives.
Contribute to expanding automation coverage while supporting business-critical manual testing efforts.

What We re Looking For

+6 years of experience performing software testing and quality assurance activities within enterprise technology environments.
+6 years of experience developing and executing automated test scripts using Selenium and comparable automation tools.
Understanding of test design, test execution, defect management, and quality assurance best practices.
Experience working effectively within small teams and contributing across multiple testing responsibilities.
Ability to support both automated and manual testing efforts in environments where a blended testing approach is required.
