Brief Summary of purpose:
Networking:
Lead for Telecommunication Architecture and Support
Acts as Team Lead for the administration and maintenance of FCHP's Telecommunications infrastructure
Lead for diagnosing and troubleshooting complex network related issues
Acts as Lead for the administration and maintenance for communications circuits.
Primary contact for Carriers and communications service providers

Responsibilities

Primary Job Responsibilities:
Liaison to communication carriers, hosting and collocation companies
Architecture, Design implementation and Support of the following:
Mobile and WLAN services
Virtual Private Networks
Perimeter Service Devices (Firewalls, IPS/IDS)
Horizontal cable plant for multiple facilities including Voice, Data and Video
Application and Network based load balancers
Network Attached Storage
Network performance review and tuning
Collaborates closely with Information Security to implement network based defenses
Collaborates with Storage administrator on design, monitoring and support fon Storage Area Network
After hours on call support for connectivity and performance related issues.

Qualifications

Qualilfications
Education: 2/4 year Technical degree
Certification: CISCO Certified
Experience: 10+ years in a large multisite enterprise
