Ideal candidates for this position will have three or more years experience working in a data and technical support capacity, and have demonstrated proficiency and knowledge relative to EPIMS/SIMS and DESE reporting requirements, course scheduling, and processing student assessment reports. Qualified candidates will have superior organization, collaboration, and communication skills in order to provide user support and training, as needed, in accessing and using data and other systems. Bachelors degree or equivalent experienceThree or more years experience skilled data entry and managementKnowledge of EPIMS/SIMS and DESE reporting requirementsTwo or more years experience with PowerSchool or other student information system (SIS)Superior organization, collaboration, and communication skillsAttention to detailAnalytical and problem solving skillsAbility to work and communicate effectively with faculty and staffAbility to work effectively and accurately under pressure and meet deadlinesExperience developing training and support materials for staffDemonstrated initiative and self-starterPosition Responsibilities:Lead federal and state reporting (SIMS, EPIMS, SSDR, SCS, CRDC, etc.)Ensure accuracy of employee data including but not limited to licensing, demographics, employment/enrollment and status and course scheduling to submit to DESE for state reportsCreate and maintain accounts in various systems (PowerSchool & Special Programs, Classlink, Follett, Google, etc.)Troubleshoot and provide support for user account issuesProvide assistance and support for IT Ticketing and HelpDeskEnsure accuracy of data entry in PowerSchool, including but not limited to student demographics, enrollment data, attendance, course scheduling, discipline, GPA calculationsAssist in training faculty and staff on accurate data entry procedures.Assist in processing report cards, progress reports, attendance reports, failure reports for eligibility, tardy reports, etc.Create and update MBA Report Creator Reports as neededActivate and deactivate parent portal grade displaysAssist parents and students with PowerSchool public portal access (setting up account, navigation, etc.) Provide teacher/clerical access to PowerTeacher & PowerSchoolAssist teachers in grade book setupManage remote connections between PowerSchool and vendors (Flex, Apptegy, Classlink) Prepare SIS for future year including schedule setup in PowerScheduler and completing EOY processParticipate in training sessions on the PowerSchool information system and DESE Reporting requirements.
