Senior Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of test plans, test cases, test execution, and automation for financial applications. This role also involves supporting database development and UI development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in the brokerage trading industry and a strong technical background in automation frameworks and agile methodologies. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts. Implement and maintain automation using BDD frameworks built with Cucumber/Selenium. Run automation in CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous integration and delivery. Collaborate with product owners and scrum masters to define requirements and acceptance criteria. Work closely with developers to understand technical implementations and review code. Perform regression testing and maintain automation code for the squad. Troubleshoot, debug, and isolate issues; verify fixes and ensure quality standards. Share knowledge and mentor team members to promote best practices. Required Qualifications Solid experience testing brokerage industry financial applications. Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber/Selenium). Experience running automation in CI/CD pipelines. Strong SQL skills with the ability to write and execute complex queries. Familiarity with agile software development lifecycle. Experience in middle-tier coding using Java (a plus). Front-end development experience with Angular and JavaScript (a plus). Backend development skills with Oracle SQL (a plus). Preferred Qualifications Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across distributed teams. Excellent communication and mentoring abilities. Experience in dynamic, fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
