Title: SDET / QA Automation Engineer

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience as an SDET or QA Automation Engineer.
• Expertlevel proficiency with Playwright + TypeScript (musthave).
• Strong experience with mobile automation (Android, Appium, Espresso, etc.).
• Proven ability to design and maintain automation frameworks across UI, API, mobile, and backend.
• Handson experience with AIdriven test automation tools.
• Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and cloud/onprem hybrid architectures.
• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab).
• Excellent communication and crossfunctional collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Engineering & SDET Leadership
• Lead the full SDET lifecycle including test planning, automation strategy, execution, reporting, and continuous quality improvement.
• Define and execute endtoend test strategies for complex applications across cloud, onprem, and hybrid environments.
• Champion shiftleft quality by embedding automated tests early in the SDLC and enforcing quality gates.
• Drive mobile testing initiatives with strong experience in Android or crossplatform automation using Appium, Espresso, or similar tools.
• Architect, design, and maintain scalable automation frameworks across UI, API, mobile, and backend systems.
• Develop highcoverage automated test suites that support rapid release cycles and continuous deployment.
• Perform deep backend validation including API testing, data flow validation, and servicelevel automation.
• Test AWS SQS message flows by validating message publishing, consumption, retries, DLQs, and endtoend eventdriven workflows.
• Validate CloudWatch logs and metrics to ensure system observability, traceability, and correctness of distributed workflows
  Utilize and evaluate AIpowered test automation tools (e.g., Katalon AI, BrowserStack AI, Bedrock or similar) to enhance test creation, maintenance, and execution efficiency.
• *CI/CD, DevOps & Pipeline Engineering
  Build and maintain automation pipelines integrated with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
  Ensure automated tests run reliably within CI/CD workflows and support continuous deployment.
• *Collaboration & Leadership
  Partner closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and developers to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC.
  Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to SDETs and QA engineers.
  Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, clearly articulating technical concepts and effectively influencing engineering decisions
