A leading aerospace and avionics engineering organization is hiring a full-time System Architect to support next-generation Traffic Surveillance & Avoidance Systems in Melbourne, FL.

Required Skills & Experience Bachelors degree in STEM field
15+ years of experience in avionics, aerospace, or aviation systems engineering
Experience supporting FAA-regulated systems or NAS environments
Experience with commercial avionics platforms and RLRU-based systems
Hands-on experience with Primary Surveillance RADAR (PSR) and MSSR systems
Strong background in system architecture and requirements development
Experience with system integration, verification, and validation
Experience developing technical documentation and stakeholder briefings
Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills
Ability to work with executive leadership, customers, and regulators
Experience with MBSE and Cameo
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Knowledge of GNSS and navigation systems
Experience with Multi-Mode Receiver (MMR) systems
Understanding of DO-178C, DO-254, DO-160, ARP4754, and TSO standards
Familiarity with IFF and AIMS certification/testing
Experience with space-based systems or satellite navigation technologies
