Software Development Engineer, AGI Autonomy

The AGI team is responsibly advancing Amazons generative AI technologies, including the companys most expansive multimodal foundation models. AGI Autonomy works to augment human intelligence by creating real-world digital agents. We are the team behind the AI Agent Nova Act launch. We are hiring a Software Development Engineer to help build workflows and processes for agent capabilities to delight consumer and enterprise customers with practical AI solutions.

Key job responsibilities
We are looking for passionate, hard-working, and talented Software Engineers who have experience building innovative, mission critical, high volume applications that customers love. You will have an opportunity to make a large impact on the design, architecture, and implementation of products used every day, by people you know.
- Responsible for development and maintenance of core modules and services.
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software against fast-paced schedules.
- Will work with scientists and software engineers to evaluate technical feasibility, investigate design approaches and prototype and develop new technology.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
