The Center for Toxicology & Environmental Health, LLC ("CTEH") is actively recruiting for immediate, temporary placement within its Data Management program to assist in providing quality assurance/control, visualization, and quick turn-around reporting of environmental and asset tracking data collected by field personnel. As a Data Manager, you may be involved in large-scale environmental, health and safety projects throughout the United States. Currently, our Data Managers are working on multiple projects throughout the United States and in support of recovery efforts along the Gulf Coast. Data Managers are responsible for data quality such as data completeness and data duplication. Data Managers do not perform clean-up or remediation work. Data Managers should have excellent team skills with the ability to work long hours while maintaining a high attention to detail. The ideal candidate should have a commanding knowledge of using Excel to cross-tabulate and pivot data. The employee should be familiar with relational databases and have the ability to construct SQL queries to report results and profile data for data quality.
Data managers may be required to work between 12 and 16 hours per day. Base pay ranges from $25-$30 per hour and are eligible for overtime pay. All travel is prearranged and prepaid, to include flight, rental car and hotel. A per diem is paid to cover the cost of meals that are not otherwise provided.
Essential skills and requirements for a Data Manager include: Microsoft Excel (pivot tables) and Microsoft Access (Reporting and Data Profiling). The Data Manager must have immediate availability for deployment within 24-48 hours of notice, be at least 21 years of age, have a valid, unrestricted driver's license, be tech savvy, and, be available for extended duration travel and deployment for a minimum of 3-4 weeks at a time.
Additional skills to include: ArcGIS Tableau Python or Ruby Scripting. Data Managers must complete required company-mandated safety policy training and pass a general physical and illicit drug screen.
