As an IT manager at Level20, you'll be managing and supporting technology professionals that are building new products in a product incubator space, including software development, infrastructure design, and related service management and/or process improvement activities. An IT Manager understands business and technology direction and works to align local work efforts to ensure business goals are met. You'll help us build our future managers and leaders; supporting and coaching technology professionals to prepare them for future roles. You'll also support relevant service management activities including working with technology leadership to create and maintain service definitions, technology roadmaps, etc. At Level20 (), Progressive's growth incubator, we fuel growth for the company through the exploration and development of new-to-market products. Our cross-functional team has the backing of Progressive, which gives us access to a larger resource pool than a traditional start up. This is a hybrid role in downtown Cleveland, OH with free parking. Work from home days are possible for this position (Monday/Friday). Must-have qualifications
- Minimum four years of work experience managing professionals, technologies, architecture, or project delivery.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in an Information Technology or Business discipline or related field of study (e.g., Computer Science, Business Management) and a minimum of one year of work experience managing professionals, technologies, architecture, or project delivery.
- Broad knowledge of software architecture and development, systems engineering, project management, and/or service management.
- Ability to quickly learn new business functionality, technology and stay current with IT industry trends
- Proven Lean and Agile leadership mindset and management skills with the ability to direct and oversee the work of others.
- Experience managing developers and/or quality assurance analysts including talent development, coaching, and performance management
- Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, IT customers and/or vendors through complex project initiatives
- $136,340-$160,400/year
- Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
