Software Development Engineer in Test (Multiple Positions)

Responsibilities

Perform manual test execution, report defects, and perform defect triaging with system architects, developers, and product owners, and improve the quality of products, systems, or solutions.

Responsible for test automation and building CI/CD related work, help improve product quality and efficiency.

Perform the release check-list and co-ordinate with QA to gather all test results before release.

Handle internal and public testing as part of release process.

Participate in quality and efficiency issue analysis.

Work with Engineering teams to optimize SDLC testing.

Apply software engineering best practices while developing and testing.

Responsible for implementation of specific ad-hoc projects.

Qualifications

Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field, and 1 year of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following:

Designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks and scripts, and building robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation solutions for functional and regression testing;

Building and testing software solutions using Agile methodology and DevOps development practices;

Building automated test scripts using Java and/or Python for backend API testing; and

Identifying, recording, resolving, and documenting software bugs, including tracking bugs and test metrics.

Travel Requirement: Domestic travel required up to 10%.

Salary Range: $116280 - $191520 per year
