Amazon Web Services is looking for Software Development Engineers to develop state of the art Linux based networking platforms. You will join a team of engineers developing embedded routing platforms that enable one of the world's largest and complex networks.

We are seeking engineers with a demonstrated track record of designing and implementing Linux-based solutions on embedded devices, ideally for networking products. We want people who are passionate about changing the way data center networking is done.

- 3+ years of hands-on embedded software development experience with C/C++, demonstrating strong proficiency in firmware development and device driver implementation
- 2+ years of embedded systems architecture experience, focusing on real-time systems design, memory optimization, and hardware/software interfaces
- Experience with debugging tools, RTOS, and low-level hardware protocols (SPI, I2C, UART)
- Strong understanding of microcontroller architectures, interrupt handling, and power management optimization

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
