Job Duties: Develop web services, operational workflows, and applications that serve as the foundation of the platform. Iterate quickly, ship code frequently, and be responsible for the quality of the company's feature work through test automation and monitoring. Research and pioneer the adoption and use of new technologies within the company, leveraging experience to solve problems throughout the tech stack. Develop software applications using Java, JavaScript, C#, or Python. Design, code, and debug web applications and backend services. Apply knowledge of AWS, distributed systems, and/or app development. Telecommuting permitted.
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or a related field, and three (3) years of experience in job offered or three (3) years of experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained or a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in job offered or five (5) years of experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained.
Special Skills:
With a Master's degree, three (3) years of experience with the following skills:
1) Designing and developing large-scale, highly performant applications using an object-oriented programming language;
2) Analyzing data and gleaning information using robust SQL Queries; and
3) Coordinating cross-functional and cross-team initiatives to deliver accessible and compliant software systems.
Alternatively, with a Bachelor's degree, five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience with the following skills:
1) Designing and developing large-scale, highly performant applications using an object-oriented programming language;
2) Analyzing data and gleaning information using robust SQL Queries; and
3) Coordinating cross-functional and cross-team initiatives to deliver accessible and compliant software systems.
Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
Salary: $190,486 - $214,000 per year.
