HOW A SYSTEMS ENGINEER ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Work on a highly technical and integrated team in support of government cloud infrastructure, architecture, and general day-to-day cloud operations.
Primary support will be Azure and Oracle Gov Clouds.
Collaborate closely with Enterprise Application, Cyber, Networking and AI/ML teams to develop and maintain a secure cloud infrastructure environment.
Design, develop, deploy cloud infrastructure using code, and test complex software as they relate to cloud automation, monitoring and support.
Display proficiency in the automation and managing of cloud infrastructure using code using Terraform, PowerShell, Python, Bicep, Visual Studio Code, Git and related tools.
Provide cloud infrastructure Tier III support within GDIT, and work with external vendors to quickly resolve issues.
Manage and audit Cloud and AI/ML infrastructure compliance, security compliance, and RBAC controls through code and automation.
Familiarity with Kubernetes and Cloud Serverless applications, Azure AI/ML services.
WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED:
A thorough understanding of Enterprise IT - Networking, Storage, Backups, Server VMs/Appliances, Cloud Services, Least Privileged Access
Familiarity with Kubernetes and Cloud Serverless applications, Azure AI/ML services.
Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience
Required Technical Skills: Infrastructure as code, Azure and Oracle Cloud, AI/ML infrastructure and services.
Required Skills and Abilities: Problem solving, coding, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills: Terraform, PowerShell, Python, Bicep, Visual Studio Code, Git, Kubernetes.
Location: Remote
Ability to take call, work some evenings and weekends as required.

The likely salary range for this position is $121,680 - $161,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Scheduled Weekly Hours:
