Job Posting:

Senior Infrastructure Engineer

We have an immediate long-term contract opportunity for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to work onsite in Jersey City, NJ.

Requirements:

8+ years of hands-on Infrastructure Engineering experience with expertise in:

OpenShift/Kubernetes (30%): Deployment, management, and troubleshooting.

RHEL/Linux (30%): System administration and optimization.

VMWare (20%): Virtualization and infrastructure management.

Networking/Storage (10%): Server, storage, and network infrastructure.

Automation (10%): Python scripting for infrastructure automation.

Strong understanding of Kubernetes Container Network Interface (CNI) and Kubernetes networking (for senior roles).

Key Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and manage OpenShift/Kubernetes environments.

Administer and optimize RHEL/Linux systems and VMWare virtualization.

Automate infrastructure tasks using Python and other scripting tools.

Troubleshoot and resolve networking, storage, and server issues.

Collaborate with teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.

Certifications in Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, or VMWare.

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
