Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Technical Project Manager (PM) with strong expertise in IT infrastructure to lead projects involving cloud server migrations, file storage transitions, file encryption, and IT governance enhancements. You will drive end-to-end project delivery while collaborating closely with infrastructure teams, business units, and a dedicated Technical Business Analyst.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead IT infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, focusing on cloud migrations, secure file transfers, and storage governance.
Manage timelines, risk assessments, stakeholder communications, and overall project execution.
Coordinate with technical teams to ensure secure file share migrations and appropriate encryption and access controls.
Drive alignment between IT and business functions to meet compliance and data governance standards.
Provide technical oversight and collaborate with the Technical Business Analyst to engage business leaders.
Report project status to leadership and ensure documentation is up-to-date.
Qualifications:
6+ years of experience as a Project Manager, with 3+ years in IT infrastructure or cloud-related projects.
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure concepts such as:
Cloud servers (Azure, AWS, or similar)
File movement protocols (e.g., SFTP, SMB)
File encryption and secure storage
Governance, access control, and compliance frameworks
Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working closely with technical BAs and cross-functional teams.
PMP, CSM, or ITIL certification is a plus.
