Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

As a Software Engineer on the Cloud Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the cloud platform that powers our applications and infrastructure. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability, security, and efficiency of our cloud ecosystem.

Our mission is to empower teams to reliably run production systems using modern Cloud Native tools. We focus on building scalable, automated, and reliable solutions that benefit the entire organization. Without our team, each engineering team would have to navigate cloud challenges on their own. Our primary customers are internal engineering teams, but the solutions we build often have requirements from non-technical teams as well.

What you'll do...

Platform Development & Maintenance - Design and build cloud-native solutions that improve software deployment, scalability, and operational efficiency. Continuously enhance our internal cloud platform.

CI/CD Automation - Develop and maintain Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Concourse, ArgoCD, and Tekton. Focus on automation to improve developer productivity and system reliability.

Cloud Infrastructure & Kubernetes - Provision, manage, and optimize cloud environments using AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), and Terraform. Ensure high availability and performance.

Security & Compliance - Implement best practices for security, IAM, encryption, and compliance to safeguard cloud environments.

Observability & Monitoring - Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to proactively detect and resolve issues.

Automation & Tooling - Write automation scripts and develop internal tools using Go, Python, Bash, or other scripting languages to improve workflows.

Operational Support - Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshoot incidents, and apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to improve system resilience.
