We are growing our Enterprise AI team within the Enterprise Systems and Experience organization to enhance the companys IT systems, applications, and processes . Our engineering culture will empower you to make effective decisions, work collaboratively, and take accountability for engineering projects at the core of the company. The team is seeking a UI/UX Software Engineer to join this team in their journey towards becoming a world-class engineering team. You will be working in close collaboration with all the teams in the AI, Data, and Automation (AIDA) space , which include software engineering and machine learning engineering teams .

This job is located in Novi, Michigan with a flexible hybrid workplace setup.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver automated and self-service applications on our employee portal for Autodesk productivity services and platforms.

Create solutions to generate metrics to facilitate a deep understanding of the s ervices consumption and adoption

Leverage Microsoft Graph APIs to simplify service consumption by end-users and engineers

Collaborate with different teams to define best practices and standards around DevOps and s ervice r esilience

Create reusable libraries that can be applied across the enterprise

Develop usage standards , u ser s elf- s ervice designs, and reporting on application KPIs

Minimum Qualifications

Deals well with ambiguous or undefined problems; ability to think abstractly

Comfortable performing requirements analysis, interfacing with stakeholders of various levels and documenting solutions

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to articulate technical topics to non-technical audiences both in writing, in diagrams and person

Demonstrable knowledge of DevOps in an Enterprise setting on public cloud s (AWS or Azure )

Energetic team player who works well across boundaries and readily adapts to change and enjoys rapid development

Confident of your skills, abilities and willing to share what you know, while learning from others

5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining production user interfaces / applications

5 years of experience focused on cloud environments (Azure or AWS )

5 years of e xperience with Java S cript /Typescript and any frontend frameworks like Vue.js, React, Angular and others

Experience planning, configuring, optimizing, and deploying CI/CD solutions

Hands-on experience with some of the following: Python, C#, Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, shell scripting (Windows PowerShell /*nix), Micro-services and RESTful web services

U nderstanding of security best practices and standards around cloud computing and software development

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related quantitative field

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with the following technologies is a plus:

• Modern authentication/authorization experience (OAuth2 / OIDC)

• Cloud Identity platforms , preferably in Azu re AD

• Microsoft Graph API and Azure OpenAI

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesks competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $110,300 and $190,300. Offers are based on the candidates experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
