We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Network Engineer to join our ITOps - Global Network Infrastructure team. This role is integral to our mission, as you will lead the development, implementation, and optimization of our enterprise network infrastructure. What You'll Do- Architect, deploy, and maintain secure and scalable network solutions across LAN/WAN environments.
- Direct projects related to Palo Alto Networks firewalls, encompassing policy development, threat prevention, and VPN setup.
- Manage and optimize Aruba wireless and switching infrastructure, including ClearPass and AirWave.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Implement and enforce network security guidelines and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects and business applications.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the team.
- Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotation and support incident response efforts.
- Build and support dark fiber solutions for high-capacity network infrastructure.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering.
- Proficiency with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Aruba networking solutions.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), VLANs, and subnetting.
- Experience working with network monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, PRTG).
- Proven ability to build and implement secure network architectures.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Certifications such as PCNSE, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred.
- Experience in network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments is desirable.
