We're looking for a hands-on Airtable expert who enjoys both solving business problems and building practical solutions. This role sits at the intersection of consulting and execution-you'll partner directly with clients to understand how their teams operate, then design and implement systems that improve how work gets done.
You'll own the full lifecycle of each solution, from discovery and architecture through build, rollout, and ongoing optimization. This is a highly collaborative, client-facing role that requires both technical depth and the ability to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders. If local to Portland, OR -Hybrid onsite is preferred but willing to hire remote in select states: Oregon, Washington, California, Texas, New York, North Carolina, Michigan.
What You'll Be Doing
Partner with clients to understand their workflows, processes, and operational challenges
Design scalable Airtable systems that organize data and streamline team collaboration
Build and configure solutions, including data structures, automations, and user-facing interfaces
Develop integrations between Airtable and other platforms to improve efficiency and connectivity
Lead client sessions, including discovery, walkthroughs, and training
Translate complex technical concepts into simple, actionable guidance for users
Monitor system performance and continuously improve workflows based on feedback
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions efficiently and effectively
What We're Looking For
3+ years of experience building solutions in Airtable
Strong understanding of relational data modeling and how to structure systems for scale
Experience designing interfaces and building workflows for non-technical users
Advanced knowledge of automations, including creating and troubleshooting automation logic
Experience integrating Airtable with other tools (e.g., APIs, Slack, Google Drive, or similar platforms)
Comfortable leading client conversations and acting as a subject matter expert
Ability to balance big-picture thinking with hands-on execution
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
