The Project Manager is responsible of all facets of a Product Development and / or Sustaining project of significant size and/or high complexity from ideation to industrialization. He promotes proper development process and drives momentum within a global project team. The Project Manager is the owner of project execution, ensuring alignment, progress, and successful delivery across all stakeholders. The Day to Day: Plan and structure the project (scope, milestones, roadmap) Drive execution and track progress against objectives Manage resources, risks, and dependencies Report on performance (schedule, cost, quality KPIs) Promote development processes and drive momentum within the cross functional project team Estimate project workloads and commit/hold a team accountable to the schedule, deadlines and budget Foster collaboration in a global environment Work closely with stakeholders to gather and define requirements in addition to providing clear reporting and project follow-up Ensure quality by implementing test strategy and correct qualification What you Bring to Safran: BS Degree in Engineering or related field Minimum 5 years' experience as an Engineering Project Manager Familiar with Positioning, Navigation and Timing is a plus Strong fundamental project management knowledge Ability to drive a cross functional team without direct managerial responsibilities Ability to grasp technical ideas and communicate with non-technical team members Strong oral and written communication skills
