Role : Senior Power Automate Developer
Location : Oaks, PA (Hybrid)
Type : Long Term Contract
We are seeking a Senior Power Automate Developer to design, build, and scale enterprise-grade automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. The candidate will play a critical role in process automation, integration, and solution governance , ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable workflows aligned with enterprise standards.
This role requires strong hands-on development expertise along with architectural thinking, troubleshooting, and production support capabilities .
We are looking for experience person with approval workflows, scheduled automations, event-driven flows, and integration-based automations .
Good knowledge of exception handling, logging, monitoring, and automation support practices .
Knowledge of governance, security, DLP policies, and enterprise administration concepts in Power Platform.
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Automation & Flow Development
- Design, develop, and deploy Power Automate cloud and desktop flows for business process automation
- Build event-driven, scheduled, and API-based integrations across enterprise systems
- Develop reusable, modular flows instead of monolithic designs to improve maintainability
Integration & Connectivity
- Integrate with SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL, Snowflake, APIs, Azure services (Storage Queues, Event Hub, Event Grid, BLOB Storage) and third-party systems
- Develop and maintain custom connectors and HTTP-based integrations
- Orchestrate cross-platform workflows involving Power Apps, Power BI, and backend systems
- Build end-to-end workflow solutions involving approvals, notifications, scheduled jobs, data movement, and exception handling .
- Strong understanding of connectors, connection references, solutions, and environment-aware deployments (nice to have)
- People should have good design and solutioning thinking
Architecture & Design
- Define scalable automation architecture patterns for enterprise use
- Decide when to use Power Automate vs Azure Logic Apps/custom code
- Ensure solutions are optimized for performance, concurrency, and platform limits
- Person having data modeling, snowflake experience (nice to have)
Error Handling & Monitoring
- Implement advanced error handling (Try-Catch scopes, retry logic)
- Design structured logging frameworks (Dataverse/SharePoint logging, correlation IDs)
- Monitor flows proactively and classify failures for faster triage
Performance Optimization
- Optimize flows by minimizing loops, pushing filters to source , and controlling concurrency
- Handle large volumes and avoid throttling issues
ALM & DevOps – Good to Have
- Implement Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) using:
- Managed/unmanaged solutions
- Environment strategy (Dev → Test → Prod)
- Automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / Git)
Governance & Security – Good to Have
- Enforce Power Platform governance policies, DLP rules, and security standards
- Manage authentication, permissions, and environment-level controls
- Support enterprise adoption while maintaining compliance
Collaboration
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Architects, and Product Owners
- Translate business requirements into automation workflows and technical designs
- Mentor junior developers and guide best practices
