Departmental Overview
Student Affairs IT (SAIT) provides technology leadership and support to the Division of Student Affairs; technical support, education, hands-on learning and leadership opportunities for students; and student advocacy and engagement in campus technology development. Effective July 1, SAIT is merging into Berkeley IT. While our core mission will remain, we are expanding our reach with the broader Berkeley IT framework. Berkeley IT provides the vital digital infrastructure and services from cybersecurity and networking to user support. By joining this larger, mission-driven organization, SAIT staff will benefit from a culture of innovation and excellence, working within a team dedicated to delivering high-quality service to the entire campus community.
Position Summary
Involves managing technical projects with a defined beginning and end. Manages the project's framework, processes, and methodologies, involving departmental or cross-functional teams. Plans, coordinates, and monitors scope, requirements, schedules, budgets, resources, tasks, risks, staff, and deliverables. Monitors the project from initiation through completion. Organizes and leads activities relating to the management and completion of projects.

This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.
