Role Overview

As a senior-level engineer, you will serve as a technical leader and security subject-matter expert, guiding architecture, development practices, and risk decisions across multiple product lines. You will collaborate with embedded software, electrical systems, and cloud platform teams to design and implement cryptographic security controls that safeguard autonomy and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Security architecture : Define and review security architectures for embedded systems, influencing the design of new features across embedded, cloud, and mobile platforms.
• Key management : Design key management and access control mechanisms tailored for resource-constrained embedded environments.
• New solutions : Design and develop innovative security solutions to support autonomy and resilience.

Minimum Qualifications

• Software development : 8+ years of full-stack software development experience, including Python-based backend services.
• Linux expertise : Strong background working with Linux distributions.
• Cryptographic controls : Proven experience applying cryptographic security controls in embedded systems.
• Education : Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering-or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications (What Makes You Stand Out)

• IoT development : Hands-on experience building and securing IoT devices.
• PKI expertise : Knowledge of PKI, including certificate lifecycle management and key protection.
• DevOps : Experience in a DevOps role, integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
• AWS-native : Experience developing AWS-native applications with secure architectures.
