In this critical role, you will serve as a technical leader and security subject-matter expert, guiding the design and implementation of robust security measures for embedded controllers, vehicle networks, and the cloud-based services that connect them. You will play a key part in influencing architecture, development practices, and risk decisions across multiple product lines. Collaborating closely with embedded software, electrical systems, and cloud platform teams, you will be instrumental in implementing advanced cryptographic security controls and shaping the future of secure connected experiences.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Define and review security architectures for embedded systems, influencing the design of new features (embedded, cloud, and mobile) to ensure that organizational security needs are met.
* Design key management and access control mechanisms tailored for resource-constrained embedded environments.
* Design and develop innovative security solutions to support the advancement of autonomous capabilities.

**Required Skills & Experience:**

* 8+ years of full-stack software development experience, including Python-based backend services.
* Experience with Linux distributions.
* Experience in the application of cryptographic security controls for embedded systems.
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering or equivalent experience.

**What Will Make You Stand Out:**

* Experience in the development of IoT devices.
* PKI experience, including certificate lifecycle management and key protection.
* Experience in a DevOps role.
* Experience developing applications for cloud platforms.
