Senior software engineer

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid - onsite once a week)

You will provide technical expertise as a program team leader in the identification and development of new products. You will lead proposals to address future business opportunities, value engineering, and program/process changes. You will act as a key focal point for driving and implementing goals and objectives. You will be recognized by business management as the primary technical authority.

• 10 years of experience performing software architecture, requirements, design, and coding in healthcare products
• SQL, .Net/C#, RESTful API, SSIS, AND SSRS
• Hands-on experience with QNXT
• This is a Congizant developed system
• QNXT is a healthcare admin platform used in the healthcare payer space
• Used to manage Claims, billing, enrollment, and care management in the Medicaid and Medicare segments

• All the above + Healthcare EDI knowledge
• Ideal years of experience: 10+ years in software development, with most recent experience in the healthcare industry

• Ability to code in multiple languages
• Business-oriented approach to software development
• Ability to find the correct balance between demand and capacity when establishing priorities for the organization

• Well-versed in analytics
• Understanding of various software development lifecycle
• Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices

• Diverse and global teaming and collaboration
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Wide degree of creativity and latitude
• Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.
