Title: Senior SQL Database Administrator
Experience: 10-12 years
Location: Moon Township, Pennsylvania

Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and queries.
- Optimize SQL queries and database performance for high availability and scalability.
- Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Perform database administration tasks including backups, restores, indexing, patching, and security management.
- Support production deployments and troubleshoot application/database-related incidents.
- Work closely with application development teams to understand business requirements and implement database solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for database structures, processes, and configurations.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Assist in database migration and modernization initiatives, including cloud-based solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile or DevOps environments.
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and performance tuning.
- Experience with SQL Server Administration activities including backup/recovery, monitoring, indexing, and security.
- Knowledge of database design principles and normalization.
- Experience troubleshooting production database issues.
- Understanding of ETL processes and data integration concepts.
- Familiarity with source control and deployment processes.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, or Azure DevOps.
- Exposure to cloud migration or hybrid cloud environments.
- Experience with Power BI or reporting tools.
- Knowledge of Scripting languages such as PowerShell.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity.
