MANTECH seeks a motived, career and customer-oriented Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA.
This role supports the Comply-to-Connect (C2C) mission by engineering and sustaining secure network infrastructures across classified and unclassified environments. You will work alongside cyber experts to develop solutions th enhance network compliance and security posture across DoD systems.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Engineer, design, implement, integre, and sustain Comply-to-Connect (C2C) deployment support to migre, deploy, improve, and maintain C2C services
- Manage and maintain appliances, applicions, servers, and supporting infrastructure in both classified and unclassified environments
- Coordine with the network service provider to develop and maintain network architecture diagrams
- Evalue and recommend changes and/or technology upgrades to address performance, standardizion, and industry best practices
- Monitor and investige C2C performance and faults and recommend improvements
- Interact with other team members and customers multiple levels to gher, supply, or coordine informion
- Support Assessment and Authorizion activities reled to cybersecurity technologies, where applicable
Minimum Qualificions:
- Bachelors degree or 4+ years of additional cyber experience in lieu of degree
- 5+ years of cyber experience
- Experience with technologies involved in large-scale enterprise network deployments and da centers
- Experience deploying and/or supporting enterprise security software products such as firewalls, IPS, anti-virus solutions, applicion firewalls, high availability solutions, network management systems, and virtual systems
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux systems, general opering system security practices, TCP/IP networking, 802.1x, and network security concepts
- IAT Level II certificion (GSEC, Security+, SSCP, or CCNA-Security) or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
Preferred Qualificions:
- Experience implementing and using complex software products involving multiple integred components
- Real-time, enterprise-level C2C expertise including vendor-agnostic services, open-source trends, and proficiency in DoD integrion, engineering, and sustainment processes
- Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
- Experience with tools such as Nmap, Nessus, and tcpdump
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Physical Requirements:
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stionary position 50% of the time
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communice with co-workers, management, and customers via email, phone, and/or virtual communicion, which may involve delivering presentions
