Your Role in Supporting Our Members:
As a Senior Product Manager , you will lead the strategic vision, development, and evolution of Vancity’s credit card products, ensuring alignment with Vancity’s broader business goals and member needs. This role balances high-level strategy with hands-on execution, guiding product direction through market insights, pricing strategy, and crossfunctional collaboration. You will partner closely with senior leaders and diverse internal teams to deliver initiatives that strengthen member value, portfolio performance and Vancity’s competitive position in the credit card market. We are seeking a strategic, collaborative product leader with strong business acumen, deep interest in credit card product management that support financial well-being.
This is a Full-time, Permanent role based at Vancity head office and will report directly to the Senior Manager, Visa . While this position provides a hybrid work arrangement, you will be expected to be on-site for events and business demands
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Setting and refining the credit card product vision to align with organizational strategy and member needs
- Analyzing market trends, customer insights, and competitor landscapes to inform product decisions
- Prioritizing credit card features, releases, and enhancements based on business impact and feasibility
- Leading pricing recommendations through competitive market scans and execution of pricing grid changes
- Collaborating with cross-functional partners including ITS, design, marketing, sales, and support teams
- Communicating product roadmaps, progress, and insights to senior leadership and executives
- Engaging with key stakeholders, partners, and members to validate assumptions and gather feedback
- Ensuring alignment and smooth execution of product initiatives across teams
- Champion credit card acquisition strategies by leveraging data-driven insights
- Drive end-to-end product lifecycle management
- Collaborate with analytics and marketing teams to design and execute campaigns that align with product goals.
- Ensure compliance and risk management considerations are embedded in product design and delivery for financial services.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- A bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, technology, or a related field
- 7+ years of progressive experience in credit card product management, product strategy, or related roles
- Demonstrated experience leading product vision, roadmaps, and prioritization in complex environments
- Strong knowledge of market analysis, pricing strategy, and competitive positioning
- Proven ability to collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
- Experience working within financial services or regulated industries is an asset
Extra Skills That Set You Apart:
- Experience in banking, credit union, or financial product environments
- Familiarity with agile product development methodologies
- Experience presenting product strategies and recommendations to executive audiences
- Proven success in credit card acquisition and retention initiatives.
- Experience working in Agile pods or squads, with strong knowledge of Scrum ceremonies and backlog management.
- Ability to influence and align stakeholders across technology, marketing, and operations to achieve shared objectives.

What You’ll Earn:
This role offers a salary range of $102,900 to $127,050 per annum . The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
