Priority1, a privately held third-party logistics company, is looking to hire a talented business intelligence analyst to join a growing software development team responsible for the development of a transportation and logistics technology platform.
Ideal candidates will be diligent in problem solving, dedicated to the quality of their work, skilled in one or more required technologies, and overall versatile. Qualified candidates have demonstrated experience working in small, agile development teams responsible for the delivery of web-based solutions. This role will be responsible for analyzing reporting requests from stakeholders, developing ad hoc reports, creating data visualizations, and scheduling automated delivery of reports.
Responsibilities
Maintain data quality
Write optimized queries for use in data extraction and analysis
Design and create database tables, views, and stored procedures to support reporting needs
Maintain and schedule delivery of automated reports
Ensure data accuracy and integrity through thorough validation and quality checks
Required Skills & Experience
1-2 years of SQL experience
Strong working knowledge of relational database design and development using MSSQL
Working knowledge of analysis and reporting tools
Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI Desktop and Report Builder
Ability to analyze user stories, effectively communicate, and ship quality code quickly
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas
Must be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel
Self-starter with the ability to work independently without constant supervision
BS in Computer Science, MIS or similar field or equivalent experience and education
Nice to Have
Experience with Azure Logic Apps or Power Automate
