Become part of the Labor Management team, designing, building, and delivering a robust application that supports Publix business areas in managing labor activities such as forecasting, time attendance and scheduling. In this role, you will define, lead, and elevate the overall strategy for end-to-end manual and automated testing for the labor management scheduling team.

Your Impact:
  • Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers across manual and automated testing, fostering a high-performing quality culture
  • Define and drive the overall quality strategy, standards, and best practices across labor management initiatives
  • Own end-to-end test planning, including estimating efforts, developing test strategies, and ensuring comprehensive system coverage
  • Develop, manage, and execute test cases, test scripts, and automated tests across UI, API, and backend layers
  • Embed quality throughout the SDLC by integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines and promoting shift-left testing practices
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and leadership teams to align quality goals with business outcomes and release readiness
  • Manage test assets and workflows using Azure DevOps, including test cases, backlog, and execution tracking
  • Facilitate defect management through identification, tracking, root cause analysis, and resolution across the project lifecycle
  • Analyze requirements, design documentation, and release materials to translate them into effective test scenarios and validation strategies
  • Establish and track quality metrics and KPIs, delivering clear test reports and insights to support go/no-go decisions and continuous improvement

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, business, or related analytical field or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance in a Windows environment.
  • 2+ years of experience using Jira, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps for managing tasks and defects.
  • 4+ years creating automation test plans with modern automation tools and frameworks
  • 2+ years of experience lead quality assurance teams, leading manual and automated testing strategies
  • 2+ years of experience writing SQL queries and performing database validations and manipulation.
  • Experience aligning testing to business requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to define automation strategy (what/when/how to automate), guide teams in building scalable and maintainable frameworks, ensure automation is integrated effectively into CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience implementing AI for test case generation, automation enhancement, and UI testing
  • Experienced in applying Scrum and Agile methodologies.
  • Skilled in automation testing using Selenium or Playwright for .NET.
  • Experienced with .NET test automation frameworks such as NUnit and xUnit.
  • Competent in both manual and automated testing of REST, SOAP, and JSON APIs using tools like Postman, SoapUI, and automation libraries such as Rest Assured and RestSharp.
  • Familiar with development tools like Visual Studio IDE, Eclipse, and IntelliJ.
  • Experienced in utilizing Microsoft Azure DevOps for Test Plans, Repos, and Pipelines, including the integration of test automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Adept at conducting performance testing for APIs, backend systems, and user interfaces.
  • Competent in both manual and automated testing of REST, SOAP, and JSON APIs using tools like Postman, Bruno, SoapUI, and automation libraries such as Rest Assured and RestSharp
