IT - DSS - Information Systems Architect - Project Lead

This role offers the opportunity to work within a large, distributed environment, ensuring the reliability, security, automation, and continuous improvement of mission-critical applications and services.

As a key member of our team, you will provide technical expertise for the design, development, deployment, administration, and support of Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments. Collaborating with cloud engineering, application development, security, and operations teams, you will deliver secure, resilient, and scalable cloud solutions.

• Design, deploy, and administer AWS environments following best practices
• Support AWS account structure, IAM roles, policies, and least-privilege access
• Develop and maintain solutions using AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, and Lambda
• Develop and support Amazon Connect contact center environments
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation, Terraform, or equivalent tools
• Monitor system performance, availability, and cost optimization opportunities
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues
• Collaborate with security teams to implement encryption, logging, monitoring, and compliance controls
• Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to team members

• 6 years of experience supporting enterprise systems
• 3 years of hands-on AWS experience in development or administration
• 3 years of experience with AWS core services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, and Lambda)
• 3 years of experience with Amazon Connect and/or contact center technologies
• 3 years of experience integrating APIs, serverless functions, and cloud-native services
• 3 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation
• 3 years of experience with security best practices, logging, and monitoring in AWS
• 3 years of scripting experience (Python, Bash, or equivalent)
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional OR AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional

• Experience with AI/ML integrations and prompt engineering
• Experience with hybrid cloud or third-party integrations
• Cost optimization and FinOps experience
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services and Hybrid Cloud Architectures
• Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to mentor junior engineers
• Strong documentation and operational discipline
