The Opportunity:

Be part of an energetic team of professionals in a role that requires a self-starter mentality and can-do attitude. As a Database Management Analyst II, you will have the opportunity to provide support with Microsoft Power Platform and the day-to-day operations associated with design, implementation, and maintaining solutions in the Power Platform for the Special Operations Communications Systems (SOCS) program. You will be part of a team of professionals that ensure solutions are set up following industry best practices to ensure strategic initiatives and business continuity. In addition, the role will provide implementation planning and support in onboarding new projects and maintaining existing systems and applications.

Responsibilities:

Job emphasis will be placed on evaluating, modernizing and maintaining reporting capabilities using Power BI as well as utilizing Power Apps to develop applications that streamline business processes. Power Automate will be utilized to enhance program efficiency and productivity.

Proficiency Levels Required

Expert:
Interpersonal, Verbal Communication, Written Communication
Ability to establish positive working relationships with technical staff, customers and others involved in data-centric management
Knowledge of Information Technology Field, best practices, organization and operations
Ability to integrate technical systems with program goals and objectives.
Experience with Microsoft and/or cloud computing technologies.

Advanced:
Power BI to include design of complex web intelligence reports and dashboards
Ability to analyze existing processes and recommend enhancements to optimize performance and reduce manual tasks utilizing Power Automate
Power Apps
Business Analysis to include data flow diagrams, requirements specifications, use case scenarios, and acceptance testing

Intermediate:
Data Modeling and Data Warehousing
M365 productivity applications to include Microsoft Access
Knowledge of Dataverse and SQL is a plus
Familiarity with Power FX, JavaScript, C#, ASP.Net MVC, HTML, CSS, and .NET development is advantageous

Must be able to work both independently and as part of a small group within a fast-paced environment which will require gathering data, tracking metrics, and reporting to contractor and government personnel

Prioritize taskings and job requirements to meet deadlines both efficiently and accurately to maintain and track customer requests and requirements

Qualifications:
Required:

  • A Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

  • Education: Bachelors Degree and 3 years of professional experience administering, testing, and implementing computer databases

OR

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED and 7 years of professional experience administering, testing, and implementing computer databases

Pay Range :

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
