Wayfair LLC seeks Software Engineer II (Multiple Positions) in Boston, MA:

Job Duties: Build data pipelines to assemble large, complex sets of data that meet non-functional and functional business requirements. Deliver Data Engineering capabilities for streaming and batch-based data ingestion, enrichment, and aggregation. Design and develop sophisticated data models and visualizations that support multiple use cases across different products or domains. Define and manage SLA for all data sets in allocated areas of ownership. Work closely with data architects, SMEs, and other technology partners to develop & execute on the data architecture roadmap for different functional areas. Mentor and grow technical skills of engineers across multiple sprint teams by giving high quality feedback in design and code reviews and providing training for new methods, tools, and patterns. Collaborate with your stakeholders and other business analytics team leaders. The position is based in Boston, MA; however, telecommuting is permitted. Salary: $131,082 to $163,000.

Minimum Requirements: Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or in a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related position.

Special Skill Requirements: Experience must include one (1) year of experience in the following:
1. Database Design and Management;
2. Data ETL with Website Scraping and Third-Party API;
3. Google Cloud Platform;
4. Data Science;
5. Data Analysis for streaming and batch-based data ingestion.
6. Coding: Python, SQL, JavaScript, & R;
7. AWS;
8. UI/UX Design and Implementation;
9. Machine Learning; and
10. Website Design and Build.

The position is based in Boston, MA; however, telecommuting is permitted.
