IT Security Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and security sector, is seeking a dedicated IT Security Engineer to join their dynamic team. As an IT Security Engineer, you will be part of the Security Department supporting enterprise security initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving, and excellent communication abilities, which will enable you to thrive within the organization.

Job Title: IT Security Engineer (Netskope)

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $90-$100/hour + Benefits

What's the Job?

• Lead the deployment, configuration, and management of Netskope Next-Generation Secure Web Gateway (NG SWG) and Network Private Access (NPA) platforms.
• Develop, implement, and test Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies across various enterprise environments.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of security platforms, ensuring optimal performance and security compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security solutions with existing infrastructure and identity providers.
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents related to web traffic and private application access.

What's Needed?

• 8+ years of experience in network security, cloud security, or information security engineering.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience deploying and managing Netskope NG SWG and/or NPA in an enterprise setting.
• Proven expertise in developing and managing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies.
• Strong understanding of zero-trust network access (ZTNA) principles and architectures.
• Proficiency with SSL/TLS inspection, proxy architectures, and cloud access security broker (CASB) functionality.
