Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Data Analyst with a strong background in Financial Services to lead data-driven transformation initiatives and collaborate across business and technology teams. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of program management, business analysis, and data expertise, with experience managing distributed onshore-offshore teams.

This role will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineering teams, cloud architects, and leadership to drive strategic initiatives involving cloud modernization, enterprise data platforms, and analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of data and technology programs within Financial Services environments.
• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions.
• Manage cross-functional onshore and offshore teams, ensuring alignment across business and technology stakeholders.
• Drive program planning, risk management, dependency tracking, and executive reporting.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Analytics, and Cloud teams to support enterprise data initiatives.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions, requirements workshops, and business process improvement efforts.
• Partner with technical teams to support cloud migration, data modernization, and analytics transformation projects.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining quality and business objectives.

Required Qualifications

• 08+ years of experience as a, Business Data Analyst, Technical BA, or similar role.
• Strong Financial Services / Banking domain experience.
• Proven experience managing large-scale data and technology programs.
• Expertise in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and program delivery.
• Experience managing distributed onshore-offshore delivery teams.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience with enterprise data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake.
• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing, ETL processes, Data Governance, and Analytics ecosystems.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud migration and data modernization programs.
• Exposure to enterprise reporting, BI, and analytics solutions.
• Certifications in Agile, Cloud, or Project Management are a plus.
