Kforce's client in Greenwood Village, CO is seeking a skilled and adaptable Program Manager to join their growing team focused on technical software delivery. This role supports a portfolio of complex programs spanning architecture, DevOps, tooling, and QA automation, including offshore components. The successful candidate will work closely with product, design, data, engineering teams, and external stakeholders to drive delivery from early discovery through to completion in a highly matrixed and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end delivery lifecycle for assigned feature or journey-focused programs within a portfolio
- Coordinate across embedded internal teams (product, design, data, engineering) and external stakeholders
- Facilitate early discovery, define technical and product requirements, and develop comprehensive delivery plans
- Drive dependency mapping and manage cross-team coordination in a hybrid Agile/Waterfall (-Wagile-) environment
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders through executive presentations and reports
- Adapt flexibly to shifting priorities and workloads while maintaining strong collaboration and communication
- Support transition from legacy tools to MS Project alongside JIRA and MS Office for project reporting
- Contribute to continuous process improvements and -swarm- as needed to resolve delivery challenges* Proven program or senior project management experience within technical software delivery
- Strong understanding of SDLC and experience working in hybrid Agile/Waterfall/Kanban environments
- Demonstrated ability to manage dependencies and complex stakeholder relationships in a matrixed organization
- Experience delivering executive updates and managing communication with senior leadership
- Proficiency with JIRA, MS Project, and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and adaptability skills
- Comfortable working with technical teams and product stakeholders across multiple disciplines
- Willingness to take on shifting responsibilities and manage evolving portfolios
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical background or understanding of APIs, microservices, DevOps, automation, or architecture concepts
- Experience working with offshore or distributed teams
- Familiarity with portfolio-level program management and reporting
- Exposure to accessibility testing and quality standards
- Previous experience transitioning project tools such as from Smartsheet to MS Project
- Hybrid experience involving elements of Scrum Master or Product Owner roles (with a strong PM focus)
