ADABAS Natural Programmer

Requirements

• 6 or more years of experience in Natural programming and ADABAS database development.
• Proficiency in NaturalONE and Eclipse development environments.
• Experience with payroll, accounting, or enterprise financial systems.
• Experience in production support and troubleshooting complex application issues.
• Experience with JCL, batch processing, and online system execution.
• Experience in software version control and technical documentation maintenance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute application development and programming within an integrated ADABAS environment.
• Architect and implement software solutions for retirement claims and financial services.
• Provide technical mentoring and instructional guidance to permanent staff members.
• Translate business requirements into technical design specifications and functional code.
• Perform system modifications, unit testing, and implementation for legacy software enhancements.
• Conduct root-cause analysis to resolve high-priority production application defects.
• Maintain and update comprehensive technical documentation for core database systems.
