Moveworks Solution Architect

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to lead the decommissioning of our current Moveworks AI platform and the design and delivery of its replacement. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of enterprise architecture, AI/automation strategy, and IT service delivery. You will own the full migration lifecycle — from current-state assessment through to replacement platform launch — working closely with IT, HR, Security, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Assessment & Decommissioning
Conduct a comprehensive audit of the existing Moveworks environment, including active use cases, integrations, workflows, bots, knowledge connectors, and user adoption metrics
Document all dependencies across enterprise systems (ITSM, HRIS, SSO, knowledge bases, communication platforms such as Slack or Microsoft Teams)
Develop and execute a structured decommissioning plan with minimal disruption to end users and business operations
Define data retention, archival, and cleanup procedures in alignment with security and compliance requirements
Replacement Solution Design & Architecture
Evaluate and recommend a replacement AI assistant or enterprise automation platform based on organizational needs, budget, and strategic direction
Design the end-to-end architecture of the replacement solution, including integrations, security model, identity management, and conversational AI capabilities
Define parity and enhancement requirements — ensuring the replacement meets or exceeds Moveworks'' current functionality
Produce architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and solution design documentation
Implementation & Delivery
Lead or oversee the build, configuration, and integration of the replacement platform
Manage vendor relationships, procurement, and contract considerations related to the transition
Partner with IT, HR, and business teams to migrate workflows, knowledge content, and automation use cases to the new platform
Establish testing frameworks, UAT processes, and cutover plans
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for all migration-related decisions
Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to executive sponsors and stakeholders
Collaborate with change management and communications teams to drive user adoption of the new platform
Develop training materials and enablement plans for end users and support staff
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in enterprise IT architecture, solutions architecture, or a related technical leadership role
Hands-on experience with Moveworks, including configuration, integrations, and use case management
Strong knowledge of enterprise AI assistant or automation platforms (e.g., ServiceNow Virtual Agent, Microsoft Copilot, Workato, IBM Watson, or similar)
Experience designing and executing platform migrations or decommissioning projects in complex enterprise environments
Proficiency integrating with enterprise systems such as ServiceNow, Workday, Okta, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Confluence, or similar
Solid understanding of identity and access management, SSO/SAML, and enterprise security standards
Excellent communication skills — able to translate technical concepts for both technical teams and executive audiences
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with conversational AI, NLP platforms, or agentic AI systems
Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and enterprise service management practices
Prior experience leading vendor evaluation and RFP processes
Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) or enterprise architecture
