Job Title: PLM Business Analyst

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) Business Analyst to support the implementation, enhancement, and optimization of PLM solutions across the organization. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, product managers, and IT teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and drive successful PLM initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
· Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Product Lifecycle Management processes.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and IT.
· Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
· Support PLM system implementation, upgrades, integrations, and enhancements.
· Analyze existing workflows and recommend process improvements for efficiency and scalability.
· Facilitate workshops, meetings, and requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders.
· Work closely with technical teams to ensure accurate configuration and customization of PLM solutions.
· Perform gap analysis, data mapping, and process documentation.
· Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, and defect tracking.
· Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-implementation support.
· Ensure PLM processes comply with organizational and regulatory standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
· 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with strong PLM domain expertise.
· Hands-on experience with PLM platforms such as Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Dassault ENOVIA, or Agile PLM.
· Strong understanding of product development lifecycle, BOM management, change management, and document control processes.
· Experience in requirement gathering, process mapping, and business process optimization.
· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
· Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
· Experience with PLM integrations involving ERP, CAD, MES, or other enterprise systems is preferred.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in Manufacturing, Automotive, Aerospace, Medical Devices, or Semiconductor industries.
· Knowledge of data migration and PLM implementation projects.
· Familiarity with SQL, APIs, or reporting tools is a plus.
· PLM certification is an added advantage.
Responsibilities in Day-to-Day Operations
· Coordinate with business users to understand operational challenges.
· Monitor PLM workflows and system performance.
· Support change requests and enhancement initiatives.
· Maintain process documentation and training materials.
· Participate in project planning, status meetings, and solution reviews.
