A day in the life:

The Senior Process & Data Analyst is a subject matter expert who consults, educates, and facilitates improvements in agency technology, implementations, and workflow design. You will partner with key stakeholders to develop and lead onboarding processes for new hires by enhancing technology solutions, streamlining workflows, and improving new-hire processing.

This is a data-intensive role that requires a strong understanding of systems and the ability to transform raw data into actionable insights. You will drive continuous improvement for MMA-Northeast across multiple business units, including Business Insurance, Private Client Services, and Employee Health & Benefits. Working with business leaders, you will identify, plan, and execute initiatives that improve quality, increase productivity, and elevate service levels by leveraging appropriate technology and standardizing processes across offices. This role reports to the Director of the Business Solutions Team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead LEAN improvement initiatives, independently and with cross-functional teamsto enhance MMA-NE service delivery.
  • Implement projects using Agile methodology, ensuring agreed objectives are met.
  • Participate in national MMA committees related to systems, operations, and training.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers in both oral and written formats. Present organized, professional, and solution-focused information using multiple delivery methods. Promote open, honest, and proactive two-way communication among stakeholders and vendors.

We would love to meet you if your professional experience includes:

  • Experience
    • 3+ years of data analytics experience in a corporate or professional services environment, OR 3+ years managing process improvement projects
  • Data analysis
    • Proficiency in data cleaning and preprocessing
    • Experience performing exploratory data analysis (EDA)
    • Knowledge of statistical analysis and hypothesis testing
    • Experience with data manipulation tools such as Excel and SQL
  • Reporting
    • Ability to create clear and concise reports that summarize data insights
    • Experience with reporting and BI tools, such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills to present findings
  • Data visualization
    • Proficiency in creating charts, graphs, and dashboards

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

  • insurance industry experience
  • Six Sigma certification, PMP, or equivalent process-improvement/project-management credentials

The applicable base salary range for this role is $74,600 to $139,100. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.We are excited to offer a competitive total rewards package which includes health and welfare benefits, tuition assistance, 401K savings and other retirement programs as well as employee assistance programs.
