POSITION TITLE: Sr Developer

POSITION LOCATION: 1001 E. Lookout Drive, Richardson, TX 75082

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Develop, integrate, test, and maintain existing and new applications. Know one or more programming languages. Know one or more development methodologies/ delivery models. Provide subject matter expertise to AMS and other Centre teams, as required. Contribute to product feature prioritization and technology roadmaps. Design, build and unit test highly scalable applications. Provide maintenance support to applications as required supporting incident escalations. Identify new technologies, trends, and opportunities. Participate in sprint planning, design, coding, unit testing, sprint reviews. Provide basic design documents and translates into component-level designs to accelerate development. Design, develop and distribute reusable technical components. Assist in developing technical documentation. Participate in test-plan development, integration and deployment. Define and develop project requirements, functional specifications and detailed designs of application solutions for clients. Telecommuting: Flex role (3 days in office / 2 days remote).

REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, or in a related field and 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer, System Analyst, System Administrator, Software Development Analyst, or in a related occupation. Additionally, the applicant must have experience with the following skills: (1) Traditional app languages (COBOL/Perl /C+); (2) Scripting languages (BASH/PERL/PYTHON/RUBY); (3) Service-oriented architecture (SOA); (4) Web technologies (HTML/CSS/Java/ASP.Net/PHP/Ruby/C#); (5) Cloud computing technologies (SaaS/IaaS/PaaS); and (6) SDLC Methodology (Agile/Scrum/Iterative Development).

RATE OF PAY: $134,971 - $167,500 per year
