About the job

At Google, we "Focus on the user and all else will follow." As a User Experience Researcher (UXR), you make this possible. You will join our multi-disciplinary UX team, collaborating with Engineering and Product Management, to gather insights and create industry-leading products.

Youll play a critical role in helping your team understand user needs and will drive impact at all stages of product development, ensuring products are useful, usable, and helpful. You will explore user behaviors and motivations by conducting primary research, including: field studies, interviews, diary studies, ethnography, surveys, usability testing, and logs analysis. You will also grow within a supportive UXR community offering mentorship, regular meetups, and exclusive internal tools.

GP Studios mission is to empower Global Partnerships to enhance partnership health and land better deals more efficiently through a portfolio of internal AI and automation tools. As the UX Researcher, you will bridge complex partnership workflows and the next generation of Googles internal AI and automation tools. You will lead research projects across our user base to map existing workflows with an eye toward how they can be streamlined or disrupted with tooling solutions, specifically focusing on AI and Human-AI interaction. This role requires navigating internal enterprise ecosystems to identify where AI can remove friction from the high-stakes world of business development.

The Global Business Organization (GBO) is the engine that powers Googles full ecosystem of products and services to help customers and partners succeed and grow. GBO includes the commercial arms of Ads sellers, business development teams, and customer services and support, as well as overlay programs that enable coordinated engagement with Google's most complex and important customers and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead foundational and evaluative research studies to understand the pain points of GP Googlers, from pipeline management to cross-functional collaboration.
  • Identify specific opportunities where AI can improve decision quality and execution efficiency within the GP Studio toolset.
  • Partner closely with PMs and Engineering to translate Global Partnerships workflows into actionable product requirements.
  • Create high-quality artifacts that clarify the motivations and constraints of various users across Global Partnerships.
