  • Ensure idempotency, fault tolerance, and safe failure modes across distributed and transactional workflows.

  • Design and implement AI Agent-driven workflows using agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangGraph) for product and operational use cases such as workflow automation, operational decision support, and exception or risk triage.

  • Architect multiagent orchestration with clear agent role separation, deterministic execution paths, and controlled interaction between agents and core systems.

  • Design and manage agent memory strategies, including shortterm or session memory, longterm structured memory, and memory scoping, retention, and auditability.

  • Ensure security, compliance, and governance for AIdriven flows, including guardrails, approval steps, traceability of agent decisions, safe fallbacks, and humanintheloop controls.

  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, platform, and compliance teams to translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable, productionready architectures.

  • Participate in design and architecture reviews, story refinement, technical documentation, and acceptance criteria definition as part of an Agile/Scrum team.

  • Participate in software release, deployment, and production support activities, ensuring compliance with organizational security, risk, and operational policies.

  • Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested.

  • As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate architectural decisions and trade-offs clearly.

Nice to Have:
