Position Overview- Software Developer III (OnBase, SQL)

The role converts data from project specifications and statements of problems and procedures to create or modify computer programs. Responsibilities include converting detailed specifications into computer-processable language, entering program codes, inputting test data, interpreting program operating codes, and correcting program errors by modifying programs or altering the sequence of program steps. The worker may prepare computer block diagrams and machine logic flowcharts for detailed coding and provide documentation of programming work.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct studies pertaining to the development of new information systems to meet current and projected needs.
• Plan and prepare technical reports, memoranda, and instructional manuals as documentation of program development.
• Upgrade systems and correct errors to maintain the system after implementation.
• Assist computer programmers in resolving work problems related to project specifications or programming.
• Direct and coordinate the work of others to develop, test, install, and modify programs (as needed).
• Provide technical assistance and support for application and hardware problems, and for information sharing with external entities in a
customer-service environment.
• Provide field coordination and planning for the effective use of management information systems.
• Determine operational, technical, and support requirements for the location, installation, operation, and maintenance of office equipment and
systems.
• Prepare charts, diagrams, tables, and flowcharts; detail input and output record formats for computer programs.
• Assist in formulating logical descriptions of problems and devising optimum solutions.
• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of various computer applications.
• Provide support and recommendations for IT systems processes associated with software technology planning, development, implementation,
system security, and interfaces.

Experience Level - 8 or more years of experience.

8 Expert in n-tier architecture setup; multiple web / app / file / database servers including load balancers and DMZs.
8 In-depth experience in the setup, configuration, and administration of the OnBase platform — including Web server; App server; Data Capture
and Full Text servers; Disk group / platter administration including disk encryptions; Authentication setup including SSO; PAV / NextGen
server; exposure to at least four different versions of OnBase; proactive monitoring and health checks.
8 Hands-on experience implementing: (a) Multi-thread scheduler services; (b) DIP / DRIP implementations; (c) Timer services; (d) Advanced diagnostics settings.
7 Active participation in OnBase upgrades.
7 Well versed in diagnostics including OnDemand.
7 Strong foundation in the base technologies Windows Server (e.g., 2019) / IIS admin; knowledgeable with setup of SSL certifications; SQL Server databases (cluster mode).
5 Knowledgeable in Disaster Recovery (DR) process in the context of OnBase.
5 Active OnBase Sys Admin / Workflow Admin / Engineer certifications.
5 Ability to write SQL queries and stored procedures.
