Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced SAP Order-to-Cash (OTC) Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of end-to-end OTC processes within SAP (S/4HANA preferred). This role will partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to deliver scalable, integrated, and high-quality solutions aligned to business objectives.

The ideal candidate combines deep functional expertise in OTC with strong architectural, integration, and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Architecture

  • Lead end-to-end SAP OTC solution architecture including Order Management, Pricing, Billing, Credit Management, and Accounts Receivable
  • Define scalable and integrated solutions across SAP modules (SD, FI-AR, FSCM, BRIM if applicable)
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical solution designs
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and SAP best practices

Process Ownership & Optimization

  • Drive global OTC process standardization and harmonization
  • Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and digital transformation
  • Lead fit-gap analysis and recommend process improvements

Implementation & Delivery

  • Lead SAP implementations, rollouts, and system upgrades (ECC S/4HANA migrations)
  • Oversee configuration, testing, data migration, and deployment activities
  • Manage integrations with upstream and downstream systems (CRM, logistics, finance, tax engines, etc.)

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders (Sales, Finance, Operations) and IT
  • Facilitate workshops and design sessions
  • Provide expert guidance and influence decision-making at leadership levels

Integration & Technology

  • Define integration architecture using APIs, middleware (SAP CPI, PI/PO), and third-party tools
  • Ensure seamless data flow across systems (e.g., Salesforce, billing platforms, tax systems)

Governance & Quality

  • Establish solution governance, standards, and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and financial requirements
  • Review and approve functional and technical specifications

Leadership & Mentoring

  • Mentor functional consultants and developers
  • Provide technical leadership across project teams
  • Support capability building within the SAP practice

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field
  • 8-12+ years of SAP experience with strong focus on OTC (SD)
  • 3-5+ years in a Solution Architect or Lead role
  • Deep expertise in:

o SAP SD (Sales Order Processing, Pricing, Billing)

o Accounts Receivable (FI-AR)

o Credit Management (FSCM)

  • Experience with S/4HANA implementations or migrations
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end OTC processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with:

o SAP BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management)

o Advanced Pricing, Rebates, Contract Management

o EDI / IDocs / APIs and system integrations

  • Knowledge of tax engines (Vertex, Avalara) and compliance requirements
  • Experience in global template design and rollouts
  • SAP certifications (SD or S/4HANA)
